Beginners' crochet class
The classes will cover the simple start-up stitches and basic principles and, through the projects, an introduction to texture stitches, trims and shaping.

Tuesday 6:30-8:30pm
3 sessions of 2 hours (a total of 6 hours: £90*)
Taught by Jemima Bicknell.
Jemima Bicknell has been knitting and crocheting for as long as she can remember. She joined the Loop team in 2010 and is happy to admit that string, sticks and hooks have now officially taken over her life. Running the SOS sessions at Loop has given her plenty of experience with helping stressed out knitters and crocheters gain control over their projects. She is passionate about keeping these skills alive in today's fast and throw-away society and looks forward to creating new confident and creative crafters.
When she's not in the shop having long and detailed conversations about yarn, she can usually be found in a vintage dress and red lipstick, knitting a lace shawl and listening to heavy metal. She realises this is a bit strange.
*Prices include materials. Classes are held in the shop. Maximum of 7 students per class. 100% deposit is required at registration.
Cancellation policy
Full refund of payment for a class will be given for cancellations only if the spot can be filled by another student. Please be considerate. We reserve the right to cancel a class in unusual circumstances. We try to avoid this wherever possible, but sometimes it cannot be avoided. In this situation, of course, a full refund will be given. We're sorry but loop can not be financially responsible for extreme weather conditions or any other situations that are out if its control. |
